David L. Magdol serves as one of our Senior Vice Presidents. Mr. Magdol has been a Managing Director of Main Street Mezzanine Management, LLC and Main Street Capital Partners, LLC since 2002 and a Managing Director of the General Partner for Main Street Capital II, an SBIC, since January 2006. Prior to joining Main Street, Mr. Magdol worked for Lazard Freres & Co. LLC where he was a Vice President in Investment Banking Group. From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Magdol served as a Vice President of McMullen Group, a private equity investment firm capitalized by Dr. John J. McMullen, the ex-owner of the Houston Astros Baseball team and New Jersey Devils Hockey team.

Mr. Magdol began his career at Chemical Bank (now JPMorgan Chase) where he worked in the Structured Finance Services Group after graduating from the Bank’s credit training program. Mr. Magdol serves as the Chairman on the Board for KIPP Houston, a rapidly growing charter school in Houston, TX with 15 schools serving 4,900 students.
