Main Street Host Donation Drive for Friends For Life
In March 2021, Main Street hosted a donation drive for Friends or Life (friends4life.org). Friends For Life, a Houston based recuse organization, is a non-profit no-kill animal shelter that saves animals regardless of their breed, age or condition through innovative adoption, rescue, rehabilitation, pet retention and animal food bank programs. Despite these challenging times, Friends For Life continues to save animals and work with families whose pets need medical attention, food and other support.
Throughout the month of March, Main Street sponsored a donation drive to provide the most requested items that Friends For Life requires. In order to facilitate employee donations, Main Street also organized a pet supply drive-thru event where pet owners could bring their pets along to drop-off donations from the car. Our team came together to provide over 130 items including dog food, cat food, treats, training pads and cat litter to help the shelter as well as monetary donations.
