Main Street Supports MAM’s Mission Through Giving and Volunteer Service
In Q4 2025, Main Street supported Memorial Assistance Ministries (“MAM”) through two initiatives. MAM (www.mamhouston.org) is on a mission to build stable families, a dynamic work force, and vibrant communities by serving and meeting the needs of Houston’s poor. A few of MAM’s services include rent and utility assistance, financial coaching, employment certification programs, English language classes, citizenship classes, and medical services.
MAM partners with hardworking Houstonians to build stable lives and hope-filled futures, supported by community initiatives like its annual luncheon and volunteer opportunities at the Resale Store, where volunteers help with donations, displays, and creating a welcoming space for families in need.
Main Street’s involvement included attending MAM’s Annual Luncheon with 8 employees and making a $15,000 contribution in support of MAM’s programs and continued impact. Main Street also participated in a Resale Store volunteer event with 19 volunteers who sorted through and packaged/tagged donated clothes, toys, and fabric, and helped decorate the store for Christmas in preparation for the holiday season.
