Main Street Donates to Ronald McDonald Holcombe House
In November 2020, Main Street donated to the Ronald McDonald House Houston in support of the Holcombe House. For more than 30 years, Ronald McDonald House Houston (rmhhouston.org) has been helping families with seriously ill children stay close together during these difficult times, by providing a “home away from home” while their child receives the treatment they need. The Holcombe House (https://rmhhouston.org/for-families/holcombe-house/) is one of the four houses Ronald McDonald House has in Houston. This home is dedicated to serving the families with seriously ill children who are being treated at a Texas Medical center member institution.Typically, dedicated volunteers provide frequent meals and family activities for residents of the House. However, due to the COVID-19 crisis, volunteers are no longer allowed in the house. In response to this critical situation, Main Street was pleased to donate delivered meals to the families. Main Street was able to provide meals to 30 family members staying in the Ronald McDonald Holcombe House.
