Main Street Participates in Child Advocates’ 2020 Santa’s Wish List Program

In December 2020, Main Street participated in the Santa’s Wish List volunteer event alongside Child Advocates. Child Advocates (http://www.childadvocates.org/) mobilizes court appointed volunteers to break the vicious cycle of child abuse by speaking up for abused children who are lost in the system and guiding them into safe environments where they can thrive. Through the Santa's Wish List Program, Child Advocates provides Christmas gifts for children served by the organization.

Main Street sponsored and organized a toy drive for Santa's Wish List at our corporate offices where our employees collected new and unwrapped toys. Main Street also contributed via monetary donations which allowed our team to shop for additional toys to supplement those donated. Main Street was able to provide Christmas gifts to over 50 children and provide a total monetary donation of $21,750 to Child Advocates.

In addition to the donation drive, 12 Main Street employees also volunteered their time over two days to help Child Advocates sort and organize all the toys from the Santa’s Wish List Program as a part of the Main Street Volunteer Time Off (VTO) Program.
