Main Street Hosts Donation Drive for Star of Hope
In July 2020, Main Street hosted a donation drive for the Star of Hope Mission (www.sohmission.org), an organization dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless men, women and their children. Star of Hope encourages positive life changes through programs in spiritual growth, education, employment, life management and substance abuse recovery.
Throughout the month of July, Main Street sponsored and organized a donation drive at our corporate offices,encouraging employees to donate essential items most in need by Star of Hope. The team came together and was able to provide over 170 of these most requested items including, blankets and sheets, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, boxes of diapers and toothpaste, and bottles of baby food, hand sanitizer and lotion. Additionally, Main Street collected $12,300 in monetary contributions from its employees to donate to the Star of Hope Mission, alongside the collected items.
