Main Street Sponsors Food Truck at 10th Annual Trafigura Run
In December 2019, Main Street participated in the Trafigura Run benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Houston. The Trafigura Foundation (trafigurafoundation.org) is the philanthropic arm of Trafigura, one of the world’s leading international commodity traders. The Trafigura foundation provides long-term funding and expertise through close cooperation with organizations working to improve the socio-economic conditions of vulnerable communities. Since 2010, the Trafigura Foundation has supported the mission of the Ronald McDonald House Houston. For more than 30 years, Ronald McDonald House Houston (rmhhouston.org) has been helping families with seriously ill children stay close together during these difficult times. By providing a “home away from home” while their child receives the treatment they need.
Main Street was a sponsor and participant in the 10th annual Trafigura Run. Main Street supported the charity event by contributing $3,000 in order to sponsor the Waffle Bus food truck. In addition to the donation, Main Street also had seven employees who showed their support and participated by running the race.
