David L. Magdol has served as President since November 2018 and Chief Investment Officer and Senior Managing Director since 2011. Mr. Magdol is also the chairman of our management team’s investment committee and a member of our management team’s executive committee. Previously, he served as Vice Chairman from 2015 until November 2018. Mr. Magdol has served in other senior executive positions at Main Street since prior to its IPO in 2007. Mr. Magdol has also served as a Senior Managing Director and in other executive positions of several Main Street predecessor funds and entities, which are now subsidiaries of ours, since 2002. Mr. Magdol joined Main Street from the investment banking group at Lazard Freres & Co. Prior to Lazard, he managed a portfolio of private equity investments for the McMullen Group, a private investment firm/family office capitalized by Dr. John J. McMullen, the former owner of the New Jersey Devils and the Houston Astros. Mr. Magdol began his career in the structured finance services group of JP Morgan Chase.
Jason B. Beauvais has served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary since 2012. Previously, Mr. Beauvais served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since 2008. From 2006 through 2008, Mr. Beauvais was an attorney with Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: OXY), an international oil and gas exploration and production company. Prior to joining Occidental Petroleum Corporation, Mr. Beauvais practiced corporate and securities law at Baker Botts L.L.P., where he primarily counseled companies in public issuances and private placements of debt and equity and handled a wide range of general corporate and securities matters as well as mergers and acquisitions.
Diego Fernandez has served as a Director since 2018 and has been with Main Street in various roles since 2013. Prior to joining Main Street, Mr. Fernandez worked as an Analyst in the Leveraged Finance group of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was involved in the origination, structuring and execution of leveraged loans and high yield bonds for the Natural Resources, Consumer Retail and Media & Telecommunications industries. While at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Mr. Fernandez spent the majority of his time focusing on acquisitions, corporate financings, and dividend recapitalizations. Mr. Fernandez received a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University in 2011.
Joseph R. Crawford has served as a Vice President since 2020 and has been with Main Street in previous roles since 2015. Mr. Crawford graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, with a minor in Economics. As an undergraduate, Mr. Crawford served as a co-manager of a student managed $300,000 portfolio fund that successfully outperformed their benchmark, the S&P 500. Mr. Crawford was a Summer Analyst at Main Street in 2014.
Molly M. White has served as our Business Development Manager since 2018. Prior to joining Main Street, Ms. White worked as an Associate on the Leveraged Finance team at J.P. Morgan, where she was involved in the origination, structuring and execution of high yield bonds and leveraged loans for the Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining and Real Estate industries. Ms. White served as a member of the Leveraged Finance team in both the New York and Houston offices and had previously worked for J.P. Morgan as an Analyst. Ms. White graduated with High Distinction from the University of Virginia with a degree in Italian Studies and was also a member of the Varsity Women’s Rowing Team.
Dylan K. White has served as an associate since 2020 and has been with Main Street in previous roles since 2015 Mr. White received his BBA in Finance from the University of Texas A&M in December of 2013 and was awarded his Master of Science in Finance degree from the University of Texas A&M in August of 2015. Mr. White was a member of the Trading, Risk, and Investments Program at Texas A&M where he participated in 3 professional internship opportunities. As an undergraduate student, Mr. White served as a co-manager of a student managed $300,000 portfolio fund that successfully outperformed their benchmark, the S&P 500. Mr. White was a Spring Analyst at Main Street in 2015.
Ganggas H.W. Harjianto has served as a Senior Analyst since 2019. Prior to joining Main Street, Mr. Harjianto worked as an Analyst in the Leveraged Finance group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where he was involved in the origination, structuring and execution of leveraged loans and high yield bonds for the Consumer & Retail, Industrials and Business Services industries. While at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Mr. Harjianto spent his time focusing on acquisitions, corporate financings and dividend recapitalizations. Mr. Harjianto received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Delaware.
Kurt Maurice has served as Senior Analyst since 2019 and has been with the firm in various roles since 2017. Mr. Maurice graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University receiving his Master of Science in Finance and a B.B.A. in Accounting. Before joining Main Street, Mr. Maurice, a certified public accountant, worked for Ernst & Young in their Assurance and Transaction Advisory Services Groups.
Mary Kathryn Nommensen has served as a Senior Analyst since 2018 and has been with Main Street since June of 2016. Ms. Nommensen graduated from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin with high honors in May 2016, receiving her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting Minor. As an undergraduate, Ms. Nommensen was a College Scholar and participated in two professional internships.
David Blair has served as our Executive in Residence since 2014. David had a 25 year career with Arthur Andersen, where he was a partner from 1987-2002, working in the Denver, Houston, Dallas and San Francisco Bay area offices, with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions and other transactional-related matters, both domestic and international. From 2004 through 2013, David was a Managing Director with Andersen Tax (formerly WTAS LLC) in San Francisco, with a principal focus on general transactional-related matters and structuring-related matters for emerging technology companies and their owners, both U.S. and foreign.
Scott A. Grass has served as a Vice President since 2018 and has been with the firm in various roles since 2010. Mr. Grass received his B.B.A. in Finance with a concentration in Global Energy Management from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston in May 2010. During his time at the university, Mr. Grass collected several accolades and led various organizations and committees, most notably serving as the Vice President of the Terry Scholars organization.
Katherine S. Silva, a certified public accountant, has served as Vice President since 2015, with responsibility for managing Small Business Administration matters and several administrative functions, and Assistant Treasurer since 2010, with responsibility for managing day-to-day treasury activities. She also serves as special assistant to Mr. Foster. Ms. Silva has worked at Main Street since 2005 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia.
Charles P. Rosenstein, a C.P.A., has served as our Controller since 2010 and has been at the firm in various roles since 2008. Previously, Mr. Rosenstein was a Financial Analyst with Mariner Energy, Inc. where he was involved with all aspects of SEC reporting and management analysis. Prior to Mariner Energy, Mr. Rosenstein served as a senior SEC Auditor for the accounting firm Malone & Bailey, P.C. In this position, he was responsible for planning, supervising and completing audits for SEC clients and training and supervising entry level staff. While at Malone & Bailey, Mr. Rosenstein worked extensively with clients in the oil and gas industry.
Brandy Ehrig has served as Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis since joining Main Street in May 2018. Ms. Ehrig most recently served as Director, Global Operations Finance at Rowan Companies, from May 2017 until March 2018, and in a variety of Operations Finance, Accounting & Internal Reporting management roles within Rowan since starting there in 2010. Prior to joining Rowan, she worked in various Internal Audit & Financial Reporting positions, primarily in the offshore drilling industry. Ms. Ehrig began her career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen, LLP. She received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University and is a certified internal auditor.
Valerie L. Banner has served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Exterran Corporation (NYSE: EXTN), a global systems and process company offering solutions in the oil, gas, water and power markets, since November 2018, and as its Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from November 2015 through October 2018. Prior to the spin‑off of Exterran Corporation from Archrock, Inc., formerly known as Exterran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AROC, formerly EXH), in November 2015, Ms. Banner served as Associate General Counsel of Exterran Holdings from 2008 to 2015 and as special counsel from 2007 to 2008. Prior to the merger of Hanover Compressor Company and Universal Compression Holdings, Inc. in August 2007 to form Exterran Holdings, she served Universal as special counsel from 2000 to 2007, and served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary from 1998 through 2000. Ms. Banner held various roles prior to 1998, including Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Team, Inc. (NYSE: TISI), having begun her career as an associate with Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP. Ms. Banner also serves as an officer and director of certain Exterran Corporation domestic and international subsidiaries
Stephen B. Solcher has served as the Senior Vice President of Finance and Business Operations and Chief Financial Officer of BMC Software, Inc., a privately held company that is a global leader in software solutions, since 2005. Previously, Mr. Solcher served as BMC’s Treasurer and Vice President of Finance. He joined BMC in 1991 as Assistant Treasurer and became Treasurer the following year. During Mr. Solcher’s tenure, BMC grew from nearly $130 million in annual revenue to $2.2 billion in annual revenue in 2013, its last year operating as a public company. In addition to leading many M&A transactions as Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Solcher was instrumental in BMC’s transition from being a publicly traded company to becoming a privately held company in 2013. Prior to joining BMC, he was employed by Arthur Andersen as a certified public accountant. Mr. Solcher also serves on the development board of the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University and has served on the board of numerous nonprofit organizations. He was recognized by Institutional Investor magazine as part of the “All American Executive Team” in 2010 and 2012 and by Houston Business Journal as 2012 Best CFO—Large Public Company.
