Metro Taxi is the dominant provider of taxi cab services in the Greater New Haven, Connecticut market, including New Haven, Meriden, Wallington, Bridgeport, Trumbull, Branford and Hamden. Metro Taxi began operations in 1987 with the purchase of New Haven Yellow Cab Co., and the company grew from 15 vehicles to 150+ vehicles and 160 permits.
