Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer
Jesse Morris is our Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Morris has management responsibility over the firm’s finance, treasury, technology and internal operations. He is also a Managing Director on our Lower Middle Market investment team where his responsibilities include managing a portfolio of Lower Middle Market investments where he is an active board member and assists those companies with various strategic initiatives, capital raises and M&A activity. Mr. Morris is also responsible for originating and executing on new investments for the firm.
Mr. Morris also serves as the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of MSC Income Fund, Inc., a business development company that is managed by MSC Adviser I, LLC, our wholly owned portfolio company and a registered investment adviser.
Prior to joining Main Street, Mr. Morris served in various roles of increasing responsibility with Quanta Services, Inc. (NYSE: PWR) including most recently as Executive Vice President – Finance and President – Infrastructure Solutions. In this position, he oversaw the accounting, treasury, tax and financial planning and analysis activities and led Quanta’s public-private partnership (P3) concession and private infrastructure investment activities. Prior to joining Quanta, Mr. Morris served in various financial and accounting positions of increasing responsibility with Sysco Corporation (NYSE:SYY) including as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer – Foodservice Operations and Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer – Broadline Operations. Mr. Morris began his career as a certified public accountant and was an Experienced Manager with Arthur Andersen.

Jason Beauvais is our Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary. Mr. Beauvais has served as General Counsel and Secretary since joining the firm in 2008, as Chief Compliance Officer since 2012 and as Executive Vice President since 2021.
Mr. Beauvais also serves as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary of MSC Income Fund, Inc., a business development company (BDC) that is managed by MSC Adviser I, LLC, our wholly owned portfolio company and a registered investment adviser. In addition, he serves as chair of the BDC Council Legal Committee of the Small Business Investor Alliance (SBIA). SBIA is the trade association for BDCs and small business investment companies (SBICs).
Prior to joining Main Street, Mr. Beauvais was an attorney with Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: OXY), an international oil and gas exploration and production company. Before that, Mr. Beauvais practiced corporate and securities law at Baker Botts L.L.P., where he primarily counseled companies in public issuances and private placements of debt and equity and handled a wide range of general corporate and securities matters as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Ryan Nelson, a certified public accountant, has served as our Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer since March 2023 and also held the position of Vice President of Finance from December 2022 to March 2023.
Prior to joining Main Street, Mr. Nelson spent four years with Conn’s, Inc. (Nasdaq: CONN), a furniture, mattress, electronics and appliance store chain, where he worked in several leadership roles, including Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to joining Conn’s, Mr. Nelson spent seven years with EnLink Midstream Partners, a midstream energy services company, where he worked in several leadership roles in their accounting group. Mr. Nelson started his career at KPMG LLP. Mr. Nelson received a Bachelor of Accountancy and Master of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University.

Katherine S. Silva, a certified public accountant, has served as Vice President since 2015, with responsibility for managing Small Business Administration matters and several administrative functions, and Assistant Treasurer since 2010, with responsibility for managing day-to-day treasury activities. Ms. Silva also serves as Vice President and Assistant Treasurer of MSC Income. She also serves as special assistant to Mr. Foster. Ms. Silva has worked at Main Street since 2005 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia.

Charles P. Rosenstein, a C.P.A., has served as our Controller since 2010 and has been at the firm in various roles since 2008.
Prior to joining Main Street, Mr. Rosenstein was a Financial Analyst with Mariner Energy, Inc. where he was involved with all aspects of SEC reporting and management analysis. Prior to Mariner Energy, Mr. Rosenstein served as a senior SEC Auditor for the accounting firm Malone & Bailey, P.C. In this position, he was responsible for planning, supervising and completing audits for SEC clients and training and supervising entry level staff. While at Malone & Bailey, Mr. Rosenstein worked extensively with clients in the oil and gas industry.

Paul B. Marlow has served as our Vice President of Tax since September 2020.
Prior to joining Main Street, Mr. Marlow served as Vice President of Tax at Sanchez Oil and Gas Corporation, an independent oil and gas exploration and production company focused on the Eagle Ford Basin from 2017 to 2020. Previously, Mr. Marlow served as Senior Tax Director at Rice Energy, Inc., an independent natural gas producer focused on the Appalachian Basin from 2014 to 2017. Prior to 2014, Mr. Marlow served in a variety of tax roles in the energy sector focusing primarily on publicly traded partnerships. Mr. Marlow began his career as a certified public accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Mr. Marlow received a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Houston and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law.

Mr. Palomo re-joined Main Street in June of 2021 as a Vice President after spending several years with Hines Interests Limited Partnership (“Hines”) in various roles in support of Hines’ credit investment business. Mr. Palomo joined Hines in August 2012 as a Director-Investment Management and was promoted to Managing Director-Investment Management at Hines in August 2016. From June 2019 until October 2020, Mr. Palomo has served as Chief Investment Officer of MSC Income Fund, Inc and Mr. Palomo served as the lead member of the investment committee, as senior portfolio manager, and as a member of the valuation committee for HMS Adviser, LLC from his arrival at Hines in 2012 until April 2021. In these roles, Mr. Palomo was involved with the evaluation and approval of MSC Income Fund, Inc.’s investment opportunities as well as the monitoring of investment performance and valuation of the portfolio. Prior to joining Hines, from March 2008 to August 2012, Mr. Palomo was a Director at Main Street involved with the origination, underwriting and valuation of investments within Main Street’s lower middle-market portfolio. Before joining Main Street, from January 2005 to March 2008, Mr. Palomo worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the transaction services group and the audit practice. Terrence Brownell, a certified public accountant, is a Director in our Accounting and Valuations group and has been with the firm since 2018 in various roles.
Prior to joining Main Street, Mr. Brownell spent eight years in the Financial Services group at PwC Houston. While at PwC, Mr. Brownell worked on various asset management clients auditing large mutual fund complexes, private equity, and hedge fund clients. Mr. Brownell received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree and a Master in Professional Accounting degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Adam Park has served as our Assistant General Counsel since September 2020.
Prior to joining Main Street, Mr. Park practiced corporate and securities law at Baker & Hostetler LLP, where he primarily counseled clients in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions and general corporate matters. Prior to joining Baker & Hostetler, Mr. Park was an associate in the business practices group at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP, where he focused on the formation, regulation, and operation of public and private funds, including business development companies. Mr. Park holds a B.A. from the College of William and Mary in Philosophy and a J.D. from the George Mason University School of Law.

Amber Johnson, a CFE, is the Senior Manager of our Financial Planning & Analysis group. Mrs. Johnson has been with the firm since 2018, supporting our Lower Middle Market teams with additional review and analysis of portfolio company financials. Mrs. Johnson’s role also includes the implementation and maintenance of OneStream to support our portfolio companies. Previously, Mrs. Johnson worked at Deloitte in the audit group to assist with quarterly and annual audits, as well as internal control audit procedures.
Mrs. Johnson holds a Master’s of Science in Accounting degree from Lamar University.

Lauren Smith, a certified public accountant, has served as Accounting Manager within our Asset Management Business since December 2021. Prior to joining Main Street, Mrs. Smith worked for PwC Houston as an auditor in the financial services division from 2014 to 2021, with increasing degrees of responsibility and left as an Experienced Manager. Mrs. Smith began her career at Deloitte, South Africa, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant CA (SA) and subsequently moved to Houston.Tax Manager

Elizabeth Winkelmann, a certified public accountant, has served as our Tax Manager since April 2021. Ms. Winkelmann oversees the tax compliance and financial reporting obligations for Main Street and advises on structuring and general tax matters for the portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Main Street, Ms. Winkelmann spent eight years in the Business Tax Services group at KPMG LLP in Houston, most recently serving as a Tax Senior Manager. While at KPMG, Ms. Winkelmann spent most of her time assisting clients with federal tax compliance and planning, financial accounting for income taxes, performing complex tax research projects, and serving as a tax specialist team member on SEC and private audit engagements.
Ms. Winkelmann received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree and a Master in Professional Accounting degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
