Main Street sponsors the 12th Annual Trafigura Run
In December 2021, Main Street participated in the Trafigura Run benefitting the Ronald McDonald House Houston. The Trafigura Foundation (trafigurafoundation.org) is the philanthropic arm of Trafigura, one of the world’s leading international commodity traders. The Trafigura foundation provides long-term funding and expertise through close cooperation with organizations working to improve the socio-economic conditions of vulnerable communities. Since 2010, the Trafigura Foundation has supported the mission of the Ronald McDonald House Houston. For more than 30 years, Ronald McDonald House Houston (rmhhouston.org) has been helping families with seriously ill children stay close together during these difficult times. By providing a “home away from home” while their child receives the treatment they need.
For the third year in a row, Main Street was a sponsor and participant in the 12th annual Trafigura Run. Main Street supported the run by contributing a monetary donation of around $6,000. In addition to the donation, Main Street had 11 participants on the Main Street Capital Team who participated in the event, showing their support by running the race.
